What Could We Pay for Your Barrett?
Find your model below for a general estimated selling range, then submit a few details for your actual offer. These ranges reflect what common Barrett models may typically sell for based on model, configuration, condition and current market demand.
Two firearms with the same model name can have very different values. Condition, exact variant, caliber, finish, included accessories, modifications and current market demand can all affect what we can pay.
The ranges above are intended to give you a useful starting point. Your actual offer is based on the firearm you submit.
Fair
Usually toward the lower portion of the range.
Good
Generally within the middle of the range.
Excellent
May qualify toward the higher end of the range.
Condition alone does not determine placement within a range. Variant, configuration, demand, modifications and included accessories can also materially affect value.
Estimated ranges are provided for general informational purposes and are not guaranteed purchase offers or appraisals. Actual offers depend on the exact firearm, variant, condition, configuration, accessories, current market conditions and other relevant factors. Pricing may change over time.
About Barrett
Barrett Firearms Manufacturing was founded in 1982 by Ronnie Barrett in Murfreesboro, Tennessee, initially to develop a semi-automatic rifle chambered in .50 BMG for long-range and anti-materiel use. The resulting Model 82, and its refined successor the M107, were adopted by the U.S. military and numerous allied forces, establishing Barrett as the defining name in large-caliber semi-automatic rifles. The company's designs played a major role in popularizing .50 BMG rifles among civilian long-range shooting enthusiasts as well.
Beyond the M82/M107 platform, Barrett expanded into bolt-action precision rifles with the Model 95 and later the MRAD, a modular multi-caliber bolt-action rifle adopted by military and law enforcement units for its ability to switch between calibers by changing the barrel and bolt. Barrett's rifles are generally associated with precision long-range shooting rather than the broad sporting or collecting markets tied to older manufacturers.
Because Barrett's most notable rifles are large, specialized, and were produced in more limited numbers than typical sporting firearms, factory configuration, included accessories, and documentation of any military or law-enforcement history are particularly relevant when identifying a specific rifle.

Valuation
What affects Barrett firearm values
These are the characteristics we assess on the specific firearm in front of us — not a model-number price chart.
Factor 1
Production era and age
Earlier M82 production versus the later-refined M107 configuration is a relevant starting point for identifying a specific rifle's design generation.
Factor 2
Condition
Barrel and bore condition, along with the function of the recoil system on semi-automatic models, are closely assessed given the mechanical demands of .50 BMG cartridges.
Factor 3
Originality
Factory barrels, muzzle brakes, and stock or chassis components are weighed against aftermarket modifications.
Factor 4
Factory configuration and chambering
Caliber options (including .50 BMG and various precision rifle calibers on the MRAD), barrel length, and optics mounting configuration define specific variants.
Factor 5
Special editions and contract models
Military or law-enforcement contract-marked rifles are treated as a distinct category from standard commercial production.
Factor 6
Documentation
Original cases, included accessories such as bipods and magazines, and any documented agency or contract history support a Barrett rifle's completeness and background.
Factor 7
Collector demand
Early production M82 rifles and rifles with documented military or law-enforcement history draw more specific interest than typical current commercial production.
