Sell Revolvers to a Licensed Buyer

Revolvers remain some of the most consistently sought-after handguns we buy, from vintage double-actions to modern hunting and defense wheelguns. We look closely at cylinder timing, lockup, and finish because these details tell us as much about a revolver as its model name does. Original grips, factory boxes, and documented history all help but are not required.

What we look at

Timing, cylinder lockup, barrel-cylinder gap, and trigger pull tell us the mechanical health of the revolver. We also check for finish condition and any refinishing or repair work.

What to include

Send or bring the revolver along with any speed loaders, factory grips, or the original box. Note the caliber and barrel length, since these vary widely within the same model line.

Condition and originality

Original factory grips and unaltered internals are preferred over aftermarket parts, though we still buy revolvers that have been modified for practical use.

Paperwork and accessories

Factory letters, original boxes, and past service records add context to our evaluation, especially on older or collectible models.
